We were recently saddened to hear of the death of club secretary Peter Reddy, who has been an active member of the club for many years.
Peter was a very popular and well-liked member of the club, who in addition to his role as secretary, went out of his way every week to organise us at each club night. He was our regular supplier of tea and biscuits too, which he always prepared for us towards the end of each evening.
With a background in film photography, Peter had a preference for printed images over digital, but he was embracing digital photography in his later years and was a regular in our monthly competitions.
Everyone at Darwen Camera Club will miss Peter, and we pass on our condolences to his family at this sad time.
